Next Level’s sewer pipe lining service could be just what your plumbing needs.
A sewer pipe lining? What’s that?
Next Level utilizes a process called cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP), which is one of a range of “trenchless” services we offer. Trenchless processes represent the most state-of-the-art technology available on today’s market, and carries a lot of benefit for our customers. Traditionally, prior to any plumbing work being done, a long, deep trench would be dug in your backyard or into the foundation of your building to reach and service your pipe. Additionally, the problem and its location could only be guessed at.
Today, trenchless technology means you only need a small hole to reach and service your pipe, which stays underground throughout the repair process. Next Level also utilizes sewer camera inspections, which involves sending a small, high-definition camera into your pipes to assess the health of your plumbing and pinpoint the location and nature of any damage. Unsurprisingly, this saves a great deal of time, often hugely reduces the customer’s bill, and reduces a lot of mess and hassle.
If a sewer pipe lining is recommended by your Next Level engineer, the pipe must first be prepared and cleaned. Our deep-cleaning process is called hydrojetting, which shoots a highly pressurized jet of hot water into the pipe (similarly to a pressure washer) to strip away built-up kitchen grease, irregularities in the pipe itself like mineral and rust projections, and small- to medium-sized tree roots. With a smooth interior wall, the pipe lining will adhere cleanly.
Next, the liner is placed in the pipe. Impregnated with a heavy-duty epoxy resin, the liner is affixed around the mouth of the pipe, and with high pressure forced simultaneously inside-out and into the pipe. After a brief curing period of several hours, your new liner is ready for use! The resin is extremely durable and (literally) flexible, with a lifespan of up to fifty years and the ability to fit into straight, curved, and 90-degree angle pipes. It can also be cut and applied to localized areas or run throughout a whole system. Additionally, its seamless construction is a strong deterrent for questing tree roots, and negates issues such as leaky pipe fittings.
